A quick hello to parents, friends, and other unfortunate souls that have come to know us (joking!). For anyone who doesn't know this wild, adventerous, somewhat silly duo and has stumbled across us in the vastness of the internet, this will be the entertaining and informative account of our semi-planned but mostly spur of the moment climbing excursions. We will be traveling across the western United States and Canada, hiking, cragging, and alpine climbing with no real time guidelines to adhere to.
First things first and the obvious introductions are in order to get a clear view of who we are and most importantly, what the turtle is. The we that I have been reffering to is Sam Orsello, that's me, and Ashley Holshue (the one who will be typing most of this as my spelling, grammer, and knowledge of basic writing principals is weak at the very best). We have been dating and climbing together with relative civility for the past five years and made the decision to put our notices in at our jobs. (both of which we're far better to us than could be expected). Of our own free will, we have packed ourselves into a 1989 Ford Econoline Van (who we refer to as the TURTLE) for the next six months on the road.
